PSH's New Shoes!
I got my 255/45/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics installed yesterday, and immediately noticed improvements in ride comfort and road noise over the 275/45/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s I had before. These tires are awesome!

Why did you change to smaller width tires? Did your old tires wear out? Was there any advantage using 275 over 255? I'm stuck between choosing between 275 and 255 tires. The 275 tire that I want are the same one you previously had, but are backorder right now for 2 months. Should I go with another brand that are 275 also? Thanks.

Brad,
I have a set of 255/45/18 Asymmetrics on my 2007 GT, but I have a vibration in the steering wheel when driving above 45 mph. It happens when the car been parked for a few hours. The longer you drive the less noticable the shaking becomes. Have you experienced any highway speed vibrations with these tires.
Thanks,
Clay

the goodyears are great. I still like the old tires (F1 DS3's) better from a performance standpoint, but these are excellent for a everyday any situation tire.
I wish we still had the Autometer DPIC in the car that gave Laterla G readings. I know what ive pulled on the old tires, would like to see if I could repeat on these.

On the AVIC D3, press MAP then MAP again and choose VEHICLE DYNAMICS. I think LATERAL G is the gauge on the right. If not, touch the gauge on the right and choose LATERAL ACCELERATION.
