Newbie needs help, speaker noise

I have just installed a replacement head unit in my wife's 2006 V6 Convertible and i have a problem.
Everything works fine except that when the brake pedal is depressed / released you hear a click coming from the speakers. It's not that noticeable when the volume is turn up. Any suggestions to fix the issue?

Used a metra wire harness from Crutchfield.

Any help is appreciated.

You have a ground loop being formed between your lights and some audio component. Have you changed any ground points or added any aftermarket amps since the install?

I have the same issue, but since I have sequentials, mine sounds more like a galloping horse: click-clikity-clickity. Mine can be fixed by grounding my factory door sub amps directly to the battery or to the same ground as all my other components, but I'm too lazy and don't care enough to fix it..

I haven't added or changed anything except for the replaced head unit. There was another small connnector that was used with the factory unit that I did not use at all. I don't know what it was or is used for but it's not bening used now at all.
