It's for the rubber track the windows rest against as they go up and down. The 05's to 07's (I think 07') have nothing but the bare rubber which scratches window tint.

Look at TacoBills install to see what I am talking about.

This is great news, the rubber on my 07' even makes lines on my non-tinted windows!

8r3z-6321457-a
8r3z-6321456-a

So these factory part numbers will replace the tint scratching rubber piece found on '05-'07s that do not have the felt facing the window? I buy these instead of moleskin right? I assume one is for the right door and the other is for the left? Just wanted to know for sure before I call the local parts dept.

Again, pardon my ignorance as well. I have a 2008, does that part number seem to indicate that I already have the moleskin on my car? I haven't tinted yet, but I'm thinking about it.

Has anyone checked to see if these can be installed under warranty for 05-07s? Is there a TSB?

The only way there would be a tsb is if non-tinted windows were being damaged by the original parts.

You might stand a chance if the dealer tinted your windows.
