and what can i do to help?

Can you measure clearances? From tire to fender lip, and from tire to strut?

I agree. I had 275's on all four corners of my 2000, and in the rain, it was a little bit of a hassle. And, that was with some really good Bridgestone Potenza's with a LOT of tread left.

There are other issues as well: with wide tires, you get a lot more rolling resistance. Now, even though new mustangs have the power, it still eats up a lot of it.

Another issue is when on "well worn" roads, the car may pull one way or another due to the width of the tire in conjuction with the indentations in the road (ie-coming up to an intersection). Sometimes, it is hard to handle, because the wheel will just want to take you somewhere. (And yes, my alignment was good).

One more thing: Make sure you take into account rim protectors. Originally, I had Goodyear F1's (size 275 40 17) on my 2000. When I switched to Bridgestone's with a rim protector (but same size), I had a little bit of rubbing due to the rim protector.

Anyone know the measurement from hub mounting surface to the inside of the fender lip?

Why does it have to be 45+ in the back when a lot of 05+ wheels I see are only 30+?

Also, I'm thinking about getting some 315's, can anyone tell me if I'll have rubbing issues in the rear with stock suspension components?

I have a 2.75 lip with 285 stock suspension
