Ooooh okay, thanks Gabe. I was scratching my head wondering. That could make sense but I thought the blue light had to be flashing or something. Didn't think it would be an issue behind the car emblem.

Yeah, all the cop motorcycles usually have the blue light in the back.

Just change it to red and hook it up to your third brake light. Pretty cool either way. I like it.

I seem to recall something from this years SEMA show where a company has done that for the 2015+ rear emblems.

I seen a viper emblem done like that on a video somewhere. Top center rear brake light/viper emblem. Could be factory. I dunno

I like it, its uniqe sure, though once on the car it might be a bit much and make the rear look cluttered at night.

That is factory for the Viper, I believe they have done it for the past couple of generations now.

Yup, that's the factory third-brake light for the 1996+ Viper GTS coupe

You could always make it red and wire it into the brake light circuit ... have it be a 4th brake light

After much headache im finally finished. Though I somehow lost the plastic screws that go into the trim.
Now my car is the only one in the city like this.
I like it, it's subtle and not to over powering. Next up, adding led strips to the side markers and 3rd brake light.

Blue lights to the rear (especially in combo with red) will usually get you a citation.....so use caution.

What do you think the factory tail lights on the 2013-14 models are? I suppose you can also get a ticket for those as well, despite the fact they came from the factory blacked out

Also, ask anyone who has the Raxiom 2013 style gen 5 tail lights if they got tickets for having smoked lenses.
