I don't understand why they continue to pitch to Ortiz. He's destroying you. Walk him or something.

He did pitch around him to a point. I would say the same thing though, just walk him everytime. But at least in that bat he couldnt catch up with the fastball.

Steven Drew WACHA WACHA WACHA WACHA around the bases just before, WACHA, WACHA to the club house....

It was so Wong for Jacoby to embarrass them in that pick off move and subsequent rundown. Am I Wong on any of this?

Well you don't give Jacoby much credit. As fast as he is I would fully expect him to beat 30-40% of hot boxes.

And btw Fox Rosenthal - its not 'Oragahn' you New York douchebag. If you're going to be on national tv learn how to pronounce cities and states properly. I bet you also say the Cardinals are from St. Louis "Missouruh". Moron.

I got to watch a lot of Boston games this year and really like Papi, Pedroia, and Ellsbury (who is from a town just a few hours north of me). Great players.

Oh well, good for Boston to get a win after so many years of being losers. But they still have a looong way to catch Cardinal WS wins!

Took the words right out of my mouth, just to many missed opportunities.
Congratulations Red Sox's, enjoy the victory!

I never would have guessed the Red Sox would win the World Series after being one of the worst teams in the league last year. Proud of them! Go sox!

Makes me feel better about the patriots troubles.

Plus had the bruins won the cup last season it would have been a really exciting year. And as usual, I hate basketball so no comments for the celtics.

I'm still in shock that this team of nobodies won the World Series! Super excited I just wish it wasn't at the expense of the likable St. Louis Cardinals again. I enjoy hating the opposing team, I was hoping for a Dodgers/ Sox series but St. Louis and their fans for the most part proved to be worthy adversaries for the Red Sox! I wonder what type of nonsense Bobby Valentine will come up with for the team's success after his departure.

The best news is that the Sox look to have a long term future while the Yankees seem to have some significant troubles ahead, I love baseball. Now the Patriots need to get over the hump this year, Brady doesn't have much time left!

Being a long-suffering Astros fan, I have nothing but disdain for the cardinals. That said, I still don't think I'd root against them so vehemently if not for Chris carpenter. The guy is a sub-human piece of ****. I'm not a boston fan as much as I am an anti-Yankees fan, and I know it absolutely sucks for them to watch Boston win yet another title while their only reason for relevance currently is because the worst Yankee ever to put on the uniform can't keep his mouth shut.
