Foose Mustang Stallion

I like it alot, but agree the motor needs some prucing up. he could have done something to the intake (powder coat etc) as well as the valve covers.
the MRT Interceptor is one engine he should have looked at. that was executed perfectly IMO.

I like it! I am a big Foose fan. The guy has a ton of ideas, I am sure we will see better ideas coming from him in the future.
The 2005 Mustang is a very good design to begin with, so there is only so much you can do. Its not like a classic car from the 50's or 60's. Give Chip some time, and he will be cutting up an 05, making it wild, like his T-bird.

Overall, I like it. What I would change is take off the hood scoop or add the Shaker hood scoop, put the fog lights in the vacant holes in the front fascia instead of the lower grille, and use some fiber glass or something to smooth the bottom of the ductail into the rest of the rear instead of having the abrupt lip end on it. In other words, make it look more like all one molded piece. I do like the open headlights. Not sure about the little lights next to them like Elenaor had.

I must say, I had expected something better from Chip. I saw pics of that car a while back. It is not too bad, but not that great.

I like it somewhat. The off-set logo in the grill is cool, should be a Mustang logo though. He really needs the gas cap ( I know it's not real, but it looks so cool). Also I think I am with everyone else, the wheels are pretty nice. Overall, not bad.

Very disappointing. I like Chip's work a lot, but this thing ain't right.
The paint is just not attractive, and the Eleanor junk makes me want to projectile vomit. Would it kill them to throw on a CAI and a few other bolt ons?
I do however, really like the subtlty of the side skirts and rear bumper.

Looks like the Xenon kits with a slightly different grill set-up.....
I like it better than the horrible two-tone but it is OKAY and not great like others have said. Only thing I dig is the cap delete on the back end - that is original and sweet.... and yet, then the bottom fascia seems so.... boxy... and it detracts from anything good about the cap/logo delete.....
Yeesh..... gimme Adrenalin's or VegasJays cars......
Or heck I'll just keep mine...

Man, that front is just fugly.... is thebumper sticking out way farther out than normal?
The rear treatment i like... ducktail and all.
The side skirts me likey too, although they may be too wide
But the front :notnice: :notnice:
And the stripes? they seem to just hang off to the side of the car :notnice:

Response from AutoWeek regarding the hood:
Foose's folks said they are finishing up an airbox to fit the scoop and that it will be functional when the car becomes available for sale. The car in the photos is an early prototype, they just put the engine in there as photographed to get it running, etc.

With the body work talent Chip has, I thought they would have at least made an integrated/molded ducktail instead of that thing they put on.
Don't like:
1/4 scoops
bland rear end
ugly grilles
horribly bland interior. Edit: it's ok for a normal GT but an SE made by foose afterall, should have a little more styling
never liked black wheels
Like's:

According to an episode of "Rides" last year, Chip Foose was among the three or four people who actually designed the 60 seconds Eleanor for the 2000 movie.
If true, I'm sure he's allowed to borrow his own design cues.
