Did you purchase the tuner new or used ? If it was used and the car was not returned back to stock ? The tuner is locked to that vehicle and will then have to be shipped to SCT to be unlocked !

Then make sure you have the latest firmware/software versions downloaded from the SCT website along with the latest drivers for windows..
Right click on your tuning files that were E-mailed to you, and select save and then save to your desktop..
Plug your X-Cal III into your PC via USB cable, wait for the live load window to upload, chose which file you want in each slot, example tune 1, 2, or 3 and so on..
Type a brief name or description into each file slot, then when prompted to select file, select my computer, desktop and then when you see your tune file, either right click or double click to select it and then when prompted to upload, select upload and wait for the file to write and upload into your device..
If you have any additional problems ? Just let me know !

I'm not quite sure that I understand your question Thomas
All I can tell you is.. Once you download your Bama tunes into your car's PCM via your OBD II port, the tuner automatically stores your car's stock calibration files into your X-CAL III..
If your referring to your car's stock calibration code ?
You simply select the option for read strategy, and that will display your stock calibration code..
Other than that, I'm not aware of how you would go about getting any additional information about your car into the SCT tuner..
However your Bama tuning files should already have all the necessary calibration parameters for your car set up for you, so if and when you want to make any adjustments or changes.. You simply go into your user adjustment menu settings and follow the on screen directions and make your selections from there..
If your still having trouble concerning how to go about getting any additional information about your car from the SCT tuner ? I would contact Bama tech support and find out from them, as I honestly don't have the technical expertise to provide you with the correct answer for that question..

That's why I provided you with step by step instructions Thomas ! Those instructions are the very same steps I use when installing new tuning files and I've never had any problems at all..
At any rate, I'm glad that Bama tech support was able to walk you through and straighten everything out for you..
Hopefully now you'll be able to really enjoy driving your Stang with your new tunes
