idles bad

after I cleaned my throttle out now the car decides to idle rough like 1 to 1 1/2 then it bounces back and fourth anyone no wat the matter could be

Did you disconnect the battery when you cleaned the TB? Did you remove the TB when you cleaned it? Try disconnecting the battery for 5 to 10 minutes or so and see if that helps

Ok. With my 12, sometimes on start up I also have rough idle and it seems to 'clunk' and then it idles normal. Is this what the OP is experiencing? Cause I'd love to know what the issue is too.

What's the dealer diagnosis? Send that over, along with the current odometer reading and dealer name; I'll look into this.

Hi Nikki,

The car is off waranty, so if this is a fix I can do myself then I will go that route.

My dealer mechanic stated that it could me many things wrong like 02 sensor out or new fuel filter or pump

It might not matter, but it doesn't cost anything to try and if it works, saves you time and money.

All Glenn and I are saying is it does not hurt to try the reset. What do you have to lose other than a few minutes of your time?
