Early Christmas Gift: Brenspeed Paxton Supercharger
For a while I was thinking about installing a set of cams in my 06 Vert but when I saw Brenspeed had a sale on the Paxton Nuvi 1200 Throwback SC AND installation was 50% off, I couldn't resist. Brenspeed has a top notch operation going on there. They put me up in their guest house while they did the install. I was very impressed by the work they did to my baby and when all was done, I'm getting 420hp and 376lbs of torque at the wheels. Not bad for a motor that has 100K on it.
As far as the engine goes, I'm done. Along with the SC I have FRPP intake manifold, FRPP twin 62mm throttle body, BBK long tube headers and hi flow cats, Pypes Pype Bomb exhaust deletes.
In order not to go out of control like in so many Youtube videos I upgraded the suspension. Ford GT500 strut mounts shocks struts springs all around, J&M rear control arms, Whiteline front sway bar & panhard bar brace, J&M pan hard bar, H&R rear sway bar, GT500 front lower control arms. And to stop FRPP big brake kit. I also have staggered 20" MMD rims with Mickey Thompson tires.
