I got my Steeda intake/tune combo. I got the 2 main intake pieces together yesterday, but weather is no longer cooperating so it may be in 2017 I get it all installed.
Anyway, that filter and MAF are ridiculous.

I just got mine today too!
I bought similar for mine too on Black Friday deals!
I got CAI, tune, trans mount bushing and shifter bracket!
I will be doing a full write up and comparison to my current set up with a
Ford Racing procal tune and K&N drop in filter.
I haven't opened the box yet!

Hey guys, has anyone here has wheel bearing issues with your Mustang due to track use?
I ask because in March I had my rear axle bearings replaced. Thankfully that was still covered. They were getting noisy.
I just put the car away for the year, but last few weeks I've been hearing low humming from the front, and I suspect front wheel bearings might be on their way out.
Car has ~25k miles and 10 track days. Should I just expect to change out bearings every few years due to track use?

Wow just got my "used" Ford Racing radiator that I won in an auction ($290) delivered, turns out it was brand new "$688" :-) what a deal! This thing is a beast and twice as thick as my stock rad. Also received my Reische 170F thermostat :-)

I've never turned on the heat at the track. Never thought about it to cool the engine. I have the stock radiator for the 2011 GT (1 inch thick) and I always run/shift in the high rpms (6800-6950K) using programmed shift light. At road Atlanta (90+F) it over heated and hated doing 1 hot lap and 1 or 2 cool laps after.

Oh, so what's the theory behind the lower temp thermostat? Turns on the fan sooner?
Do you have ideas about why you suddenly developed cooling issues? Are you still on factory antifreeze?

Yes I'm on stock coolant. I'm going straight water with wetter water additive next year. I also removed my fog lights and added mesh over the openings. I have data from a track day that is an apples to apples comparison to a day with fog lights still installed and i consistently saw 5 degrees or so lower. I'll also note I've only had overheating symptoms at 2 tracks, both of which were new ones for me this year...
Anyways, I'll see what happens next season with my car.

My S04's are done, and I'm looking for a new set of track tires to put on my SVE drift wheels in 19x9.5". Hoping whichever way I go they will last this season and next.
I have to make 2 major decisions:
1) 285/35-19 OR 275/35-19
2) Bridgestone Potenza RE71R, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, Dunlop Dirazza Start Spec etc. Of course the fists decision affects the second decision a lot.
Right now I'm leaning 285/35-19 and Potenza RE71s.

I'm worried about going shorter than 27" tires with 3.73 gears. I run out of 3rd already at my home tracks. Now granted, with Steeda CAI/tune I will have extra 400 RPM (7200 Redline) but I don't want to make hanging out at 7100 a common occurrence.
So 285 is more appealing because it's just a hair shy of 27". But 275/35 offers more variety.
So that is my dilemma.

Can you get the RE71R's in 285/35-19? If so, that sounds like the way to go. I was looking at them on Tire Rack myself recently but don't recall if they offer that size or not and I need to get back to work right now so . . . .
