When to wax my 2014 GT?

Hi guys, so I have had my 2014 mustang GT for more than a month now and have already washed her four times. My question is, when can I start waxing? Do I need to wait a longer time before I do it? Sorry if this might sound dumb, but this is my first time buying a brand new car so just thought Id ask.

Thanks in advance!

No need to let paint cure on a new car anymore. Get your paint protected asap!

It's only when your car has been freshly painted. If it's fresh paint, you must wait 90 days (roughly 3 months I believe). Do not use wax, but if in order to protect the paint use a glaze for automotive use. The glaze will last for a few washes before needed to be done again. But it's something to protect the new paint.
If it's not fresh paint, then go right ahead and wax it, there won't be a problem at all.
And just a small little tip, don't detail or have your car detailed too often because it will actually wear down the topcoat and make it weaker and more susceptible to Uv light which is dangerous to the paint and will create defects and such.
(I'm a collision technician in learning and we just went over the detailing chapter last week ^_^ )

It probably sat out in the sun waiting to be shipped for a couple months. You can wax it as soon as it arrives.

When i got hit in the rear quarter panel i waited a couple months before i waxed my Mustang. I even backed out into the sun from my sided carport. I know it is old school, but i'm old
