Mustangs in the Movies: Tokyo Drifting in a '67 Fastback
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift doesn't have Gal Gadot, Jordana Brewster or Michelle Rodriguez, but it does have some of the sweetest eye-candy ever to be featured in the high-octane six-film franchise (soon to be seven). Yes, we're talking about the classic '67 Fastback.
Sure, the purist in us doesn't want to see the '67, the first redesign of the mythic model, running on anything but American muscle, but there's something darn appropriate about taking two wrecked rides and turning them into one mean machine. Also, you've got to admit that Nissan RB26DETT looks like it's been well-cared-for.

I thought it sucked. There's nothing done in the film that couldn't have been accomplished with an American powerplant.

Well I didn't care for the movie either but it was a movie with a Mustang in it! Just saying it does pertain to the thread. :-)
