Help!!!! Please!!!

have a mustang 87 5.0 I was driving normal and suddenly I see smoke and wile that happens I noticed that my transmisson was struggling to get into gear the good thing is that I was a block away from my house wen that happened and it had drop all the tranny oil wen I look under my car one of the oil line that goes from the radiator to the tranny had came of so I fixed the leak and put 5 bottles of tranny oil so wen I started the car and it only goes reverse park neutral and firs gear it doesn't shift to 2'3'4 .do I need a new tranny is fixable? Pl !!!help!!! Have automatic transmission

After you refilled it, you shifted through the gears pausing for a few seconds in each one before checking it correct? If it is full and it doesn't move I would have it checked by a pro.

Are you sure there is no blockage in the lines going to and from the radiator?

Am shure there is no blockish because it was workin fine till it drop all the oil I only put 5 quarts of oil am thinking it needs more oil cause it drop all of it what u guys think should I put more oil

Follow instructions in the owners manual and check the fluid level via the transmission dipstick, assuming you have an auto transmission. Your fluid may be low, but don't just dump more in without verifying.

Check the fluid level while it's running in neutral or park @idle

I think it should a total of like 11 quarts
