Hello!
I am in the process of buying a 2005-2009 Mustang and I have been cruising the forums for info and this appears to be the best one. I hope to purchase said Mustang in January/February.
The last RWD cars I have had were a 1973 Corvette and 1972 Camaro - Time to change it up as we switched to Ford after purchasing our, then new, 2006 F-150.
Thanks for having me

Welcome! Not sure where you live, but I'd give this beauty a look. Has a LOT done to it too...

dmichaels: I hope to find a stock GT that I can make my own. There will be many pics taken.

Caveat Emptor
In my case after I put the dealership's feet to the fire I got back $528.00 which was the cost of the battery and starter motor repair. I recently shelled out $190.00 to have Dent King pull out two minor dings. The GT looks great now.
I am just telling you this so that you do not fall into the same pit of dealership dispair. Attached pic shows you some of the exterior defects.
There is a lot to be said for buying a brand new vehicle at least it does not come with defects. The internet price for the pre-owned 2007 GT was pretty good but the internet pictures as taken by the dealership did not show the damage.
The GT has since been reburbished and runs well.

poldvr: I am sorry to hear about your experience. Caveat Emptor indeed. I always buy in person, new or used, my OCD would not allow me to do it any other way
UnkTob: Thanks! It was easy leaving GM after the Bail Out circus. I had been a Chevy guy for over 30 years. The wife loves the F-150 and it has been pretty trouble-free for ~120,000 miles. Still going strong.
I am looking forward to getting it and showing/talking about it here.
Merry Christmas!

It's official now. I found an all original 2006 GT Deluxe with the 5spd MT! Just what I was looking for and only 40 miles from my home. It is extremely clean and was pampered by a Forensics officer and I am the 2nd owner.
Awesome!
Pics are in my album.
