Does Ford still own Aston Martin & Jaguar?....
Hi all,
I guess this is a bit off topic, but I was wondering if Ford still owns Aston Martin and Jaguar. Actually, I guess it is on topic because the reason I ask is that I read the new Mustang might have some European flavor to it and was wondering if there might be some inspiration taken from an AM or XK for the new Mustang since they are/were somewhat related.
Thanks for any info!

Its unfortunate they sold these assets at the bottom, but sometimes when the economy throws you a curve ball (OK a grand slam up the shute) you have to shift gears and ditch your previous long term not so profitable plans and focus on your core.
Being flexible and adapting has paid off.
Thankfully Mulally had the foresight to leverage assets and raise cash 2 years before our Saudi friends screwed us (again) with $4 gas.
Go Mulally! Screw you Saudi Arabia and your monopoly ..!.

Just wait another year and buy one of these with a 2.0L diesel engine (which will be rated at 50 mpg hwy). Problem solved ...
