What mufflers are on the Shelby GT500????

What mufflers are on the Shelby GT500????
I have a V6 with GT take off mufflers. Would The mufflers off the Shelby sound Better?
Who makes them?

I believe the stock GT500 mufflers are the same as the Manual GT mufflers. The FR500s have a different design.

GT500s are automatic GT mufflers. Keep the GT mufflers that you've got already.

I have them, FRPP GTA's, deeper tone and slightly louder than stock. I got them from Blue Oval Parts.They sound good. I wish they were a little more aggressive.

Shelby GT has the GTAs, but like NASTYSTANG stated the GT500 comes with automatic stock axlebacks.

GT500KR's are FRPP M-5230-S. Sound great/louder on 4.6's with H-pipe!
Don't know about V6's...

I removed mine a while back and the following part number(s) are stamped into the muflers: F1-7991-R and F1-7991-L.
