true definatly true

i just think in todays days red and black are just too.....already done, i know there are lots of many colors on the road, but why do sports car always have to be red or black, and i think thats gona be reflected in value
i think these colors signify the sports car becuase they make you think of speed...and its what most people want in a sports car...for it to make you think is just that dang fast.

[QUOTE=Just out of curiousity, is there anyone actually buying an '05 and thinking as it as an investment?? I say buy what you want and take care of it. When the time comes to sell it and you make anything over book value, then you got lucky and made a few bucks. =QUOTE]
i definatly got what i want in my car...but my dad did tell me that i had better take care of it becuase when it comes time for me to get a new car he is going to want to buy it back from me.so mine is somewhat of both...what i want, but later on for my daddy.

I want to know which one is going to depreciate the fastest so I know what to look for when I have an extra $800 in 2020.

Stocks are for investing in, cars are for driving.

I never worry about appreciation etc....I drive my car for my enjoyment year-round. When it breaks, rusts etc...I'll buy another one down the road.

Well, I guess everyone has an opinion about this, so here goes. Looking at the Mustang market today, the more collectible cars are the rarest ones. And color does play into it, just not in the way some think. A nice red or black car will get good money, but so will a less desirable color car w/ the same options. Look back at the mustangs of 15-20 yr ago, what would make them collectible? They're mostly cookie-cutter cars from the factory (excluding SVO, SVT, and Saleen products). The least molested (or most pristine) car will bring the most money, and a GT over the LX, but not much difference in colors, money-wise. I say, get th color and options that you want, and have fun with it. The one guy that put his '05 in a bubble for his son, now he is the exception, the rest of us, DRIVE'EM!!! B)
