Low end power loss

Low end power loss
I just got done with long tubes and an off road h pipe on my 2006 GT. Noticing the car feels like a turd off the line until it gets close to second gear. Makes a lot of noise but ain't really going anywhere especially fast. Other mods are c&l cai, udp, cmdp, and a bama tune for everything. The car is an auto with 3:31 gears. Could it be that I need 3:73s/4:10s or could the tune need adjusting. Really was expecting more from this upgrade so any thoughts would be appreciated. Thx

IIRC ? You need a re-tune for long tube headers, as they change your air/fuel ratio.. Check with you vendor and have them adjust/revise your tune for the long tubes and you should be just fine

I agree with m05, get a tune refresh and change your shift points. Plus you probably have pushed your torque band higher in the rpm range. You might have to change your rear end to at least 3.55's.

Oops ! I forgot all about the OP has 3:31 gears, which is also a contributing factor behind his lack of low end torque..
So I totally agree that he should also upgrade to at least 3:55 gears or perhaps even 3:73's in addition to either getting his tune calibration revised or look into getting his car custom dyno tuned by a local shop
