Has anyone pulled the dash on a 2008 mustang?

I have to change the motors on my defroster unit. I'm told I have to pull the dash. It looks to me I can pull just the top off. Has anyone pulled the dash on a 2008 mustang? How did you do it? Just the top or the whole dash? Thank you.

Thanks for the info. I did try you tube. I changed 1 of the 4 motors but I can't get to the other 3.

All four motors should be accessible without dash pulling.

Air inlet: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=336&viewfil...let%20Door.pdf

Defrost: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=336&viewfil...ost%20Door.pdf

Panel/floor: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=336&viewfil...oor%20Door.pdf

Temp blend: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=336&viewfil...20Actuator.pdf

Three are behind the glove box door. The other, the panel/floor one, is under the left dash panel. If you need to, you can pull the instrument cluster bezel (just pops off) for more light, and/or pull the side panels off of the center stack (which will require the console be pulled too, but it should be 'right there' for ya.

I know that a couple of them are a bear to get to the screws, but they can be done in dash.

I hope that helps ya out. Good luck!

Thanks for the help. When I look through the glovebox opening, there is a large round bar running from one side of the car to the other. The defrost motors are behind\under it. I can get to them. I was able to replace the bottom right motor near the glovebox.
