Back with another Mustang

New axles going in

Now shes looking good. Drives 100 times better. Nice, solid and still fairly comfortable.Admittedly I use another Mustang forum primarily, but figured I would check back here and see what kind of action is going on over here.

I had a DSG 2003 Mustang 3.8 5-speed. I dumped a huge amount of money and eventually sold the car a couple years back. Last year I picked up a 2004 Oxford white GT convertible in the automatic variety. Bone stock when I bought it. Here recently I began the overhaul project on it. This is what I just did with it;

KYB struts and shocks
Moog ball joints
Ford Performance C springs
Hawk ceramic pads
Powerstop rotors
Russell stainless steel brake lines
Sct sf4 93 tune
Pypes O/R H pipe
Flowmaster Original 40's
SLP double walled stainless tips
Copper plugs
17x8 245/45r17 - 17x10.5 315/35r17 Bullitts
Raxiom Icon tail lights
LED third brake light
Led interior replacement lights
White face gauges
Mach 1 grille delete
Mach 1 chin spoiler
Black housing headlights

Still to be done;

Get the new shaved rear bumper painted, along with the new front and get them on the car.
Spoiler less trunk lid painted and installed
Control arms
Subframe connectors
New black vert top
Strut tower bracing
Hood struts
And all kinds of motor goodies, performance and bay prettying up.

Nice vert! Any particular reason it needed new axles?

Axle bearings took a dump and chewed up the axles. The new ones are stronger so a nice bonus once we start upping the power.
