Need help please!!!

I have a 94 v6 and i cant keep it running. When i start it, i have to give it gas to keep it running. It wont idle by itself. I have put a new fuel pump and filter on it and it hasnt helped. Can someone please help me out??

1st thing to do before throwing parts at it is to check for codes. there could be codes even w/o the light being on. post the codes you get or address those. Really you could be tossing stuff at it all day ( like tps, iac, maf, etc, etc) w/o checking it out 1st.

once you get to that point then we can move along further.

Oh and the fuel pump and filter i had pu on when i first got the car cuz the old pump went out two days after i got the car.

So far all i know of is true duals. They were put on before i owned the car. The only thing ive done to it is put cherry bomb glasspacks on it.

The exhaust you have shouldn't cause an issue.

Get some codes checked, it is still all guess work right now. Like I stated then we can move on. Real quick you can look under the hood to see if something is unplugged wiring or vacuum wise, even checked for aged/ worn vacuum lines real quick but still the idle issue could be anything right now.

Check engine light isnt on and i cleaned the IAC last night.

I stated already light doesn't need to on for a code to be present.

Unplug an o2 scensor and then go in there and get all the codes

I don't have tons of time right now but you have on OBD1 system. The code readers are dead cheap or google how to use a paper clip to use has jumper on a ford OBD1 plug, you then would have to count the check engine lights has they flash and go through the KOEO procedure. just make sure you count the correct. Most OBD1 readers are 20bucks or so.

I figured out what the problem was. It was my IAC. It went bad. Thanks for the help though!
