My car just recently began to misfire, it has been sitting around due to me repairing the axel but I started it up and it was perfectly fine after sitting for a month or so. So I start it up again the next day and it's starts misfiring on low rpm along with the mixture of black and white smoke from the exhaust. It is low on oil and also coolant btw but I doubt that could be the main reason it's misfiring, any ideas?? Thank you

You might want to top off all fluids, and perform a tuneup to begin the process of isolating the issue.

Okay gotcha, I did put some oil in yesterday and the misfiring stopped thankfully. Filled up the coolant also so no more black smoke but there is still a little bit excessive white smoke coming out. Gonna make sure everything is still topped off later in the Evening and get back to you.

Fluids are topped off and it is now back to misfiring along with a lot of excess smoke from the exhaust. Was planning on taking it to autozone today to scan for codes but it's back to misfiring

Check your spark plugs for the misfiring. As for the smoke your car may be running lean due to the fact that your spark plugs are bad and aren't burning fuel. If your spark plugs are good take a look at your ignition coils/distributor cap plug wires.

Black smoke is excess fuel. White smoke is water/coolant in the exhaust, blue smoke is Oil. Like has been said do a full tune up (plugs, wires, cap, and rotor). Also change the fuel filter
