Apparently, no vehicle can escape the wrath of today’s massive recall demands. Not even the S550 Mustang.

As part of a huge call back on 830,000 Ford vehicles, the Detroit carmaker is asking the owners of some 2015 model year Mustangs to take their cars back to dealerships due to a potentially faulty door latch.

More specifically, according to a CBS Detroit report, the recall notes that the door latch on the vehicles can break, which could prevent the door from closing.

The affected Ford vehicles include 2015 Mustangs built at the Michigan Flat Rock Assembly Plant from May 28, 2014 to April 30, 2015. The recall also affects 2013-15 Ford C-MAXs, 2013-15 Ford Escapes, 2012-15 Ford Focus cars, 2015 Lincoln MKCs, and 2014-16 Ford Transit Connect vehicles.

Of course, dealers will fix the door latch free of charge. But it’s up to Mustang owners to follow through on the recall notices and get those cars into dealerships.
