Own a 2012 Mustang? Then you’ll want to get your ride to a Ford dealership to get it fixed.

Ford has announced a recall on Mustang models built at the Flat Rock assembly plant from August 19, 2011 through February 21, 2012 as part of a safety issue affecting 202,000 Ford vehicles, according to an Auto Blog report.

The problem is tied to the transmission’s lead frame that can force the gearbox to downshift into first gear, which can cause the rear tires to slide or lock up at high speeds.

To date, there have been no reports of any injuries stemming from the issue. But there have been reports of three accidents related to the problem. The fix includes updating the powertrain control module software and replacing the transmission lead frame.

Ford is expected to start notifying owners by mail on May 23, according to the report.
