Enter the Hoonicorn

Before Ken Block ripped through the heart of L.A. and did donuts around, well, Randy’s Donuts, he had to test out his latest creation: the Hoonicorn. However, unlike all his other Gymkhana cars, this was a completely unique build that had no basis in reality, or any real counterpart that could hint at what the car would handle like.

That said, the Hoonicorn, I have no doubt, will go down in automotive lore as one of the coolest custom pieces of art and stupidity of all time. And that all could be based on the ludicrous figures alone: 845 horsepower, AWD, 6-speed sequential gearbox, all wrapped up in an exterior that says 1965 Ford Mustang. I put it to all you to find me a more insane build.

Before the Hoonicorn became internet and automotive legend, it had to get shook down good and proper. Here, in all its ridiculously awesome, unfinished glory, is Ken Block performing said shaking.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks cooler in its nascent form, since you can see all the inner workings of it?
