Looks like Christmas will be coming early for a few Mustang fans.

Ford has announced that the new 2015 convertible models will start shipping to dealerships this week, just in time for the holidays.

Of course, with winter weather already in a full swing in most of the country, going topless will likely have to be put on hold for a few months. But as Ford notes in its official press release, that certainly shouldn’t dampen the cheer of anyone waiting to take delivery of a new convertible, given some of the car’s seasonal features.

“Cold weather may have come unseasonably early this year, but with available heated seats, remote start and selectable drive modes with a snow/wet setting, Mustang is the perfect offering for the season,” said Melanie Banker, Mustang brand manager, in a press statement.

Personally, if I were getting a new convertible Mustang, I wouldn’t let a little snow stop me from dropping the top for at least one celebratory run. Just grab one of those cheap knitted hats you got gifted, bundle up in that new scarf, and hit the road.
